We’re all a bit independent.  That feeling of independence is a part of our national culture.  Much closer to the truth, is just how interdependent we are. Each of us has an entire network of ‘others’ we depend on.  We may wish to ‘be’ independent, but I believe reality suggests otherwise.

We have no possibility in business, for any level of success without you.  It is our hope to provide products and services, that you find dependable. We are indeed an independent business, that is dependent on you.  We are not a part of any corporate conglomerate.  We feel that is something that differentiates us.  You know us and our personalities, from season to season, and year to year.  We are fortunate to live in a great city, with a thriving metropolitan expanse.  We are most honored, to be a part of the community at-large; it is our privilege to serve your gardening needs, and to have so many wonderful relationships.

It is the very nature of our interdependent relationship, that endears you to us, and hopefully, us to you. The foundation of our success was my grandmother’s demonstration that she cared about plants, but cared more for people.  In our 93 years since she began, that same belief is what continues to propel us.

In that light, we are offering a store-wide sale.  Usually  deliveries are excluded, and is limited to ‘in-store’ purchases only.  Through close of business on July 10, 2025, all purchases will be 15% off, including online.
