Welcome to In the Garden with Bates Nursery

This is the blog page for Nashville's best nursery and garden center. Author and fourth-generation Sara Bates discusses plants, gardening, and announces any sales or specials every Thursday. It's the perfect publication for Middle Tennessee plant enthusiasts to find valuable tips, advice, and inspiration for their gardening journey. After 16 years of writing, David Bates has taken a back seat and will guest-post from time to time.

Whether you're well seasoned or a beginner looking to get started, this blog is tailored to provide you with the latest seasonal happenings, humor, and wisdom that the nursery can bring you.
