The Last of April

(But the first of your gardening fun!)

As we tiptoe into the final days of April, we can confidently say goodbye to frosty mornings (whew!)—though we can’t quite say the same for the rain. So far this month, Mother Nature has treated us to more than 8 inches of rainfall—that’s over 20% of our average annual total—and she’s not quite finished. While your umbrella might still be on standby, your garden hose can take a well-deserved break. The soil? Saturated and smiling. In other words: it’s planting time.

Whether you’re itching to get vegetables in the ground, dreaming of colorful containers, or planning to transform your yard into a pollinator paradise, now is the moment. And guess what? We’ve got it all. No exaggeration—we’re bursting with everything from trees to tomatoes, flowers to fruiting shrubs, and perennials to potted surprises. If it grows, there’s a good chance we’ve got it—and if you don’t believe me, go ahead and try to stump us.

Worried about getting soggy while you shop? Fret not! A large portion of our sales area is covered and dry, so you can wander, wonder, and shop to your heart’s content—rain or shine.
