Now OPEN Sundays Noon to 4pm!
Yes, you read that right! At Bates Nursery, we're now open ‘Eight Days a Week’—well, almost. Technically, it's seven days, but from our enthusiastic gardening perspective, it feels more like eight (or even eleven and three-quarters) days a week, especially as we roll full steam ahead... through Father's Day!
Our new Sunday hours are from noon until 4 PM, complementing our regular Monday to Saturday schedule, 9 AM to 4 PM. This means you can indulge your gardening cravings daily, rain or shine—and speaking of rain, Saturday’s forecast calls for a full-day of fairly copious rainfall. But fear not! Thanks to our expansive 'Batestrium', you'll stay cozy and dry while browsing an impressive collection of shade-loving plants, including magnificent hydrangeas and captivating Japanese maples. It might not be the best ‘planting’ day, but for collecting your goodies and getting ready for planting, it will be stellar.
Early spring has unmistakably sprung, and nothing announces its arrival like our show-stopping Saucer Magnolias. These beauties are in stock and ready to transform your garden into a bloom-filled sanctuary. You’ll find those either near the front entrance, or on the tree lot.
Haven’t visited since last spring? You're in for a smooth surprise! We've upgraded all our shopping areas with fresh pavement, ensuring a delightful experience from parking lot to checkout. Plus, we’ve added 50 shiny new shopping carts to accommodate your growing garden ambitions. Don't forget to wander down to our annual greenhouse to explore a vibrant array of cool-season vegetable plants and aromatic herbs—perfect for getting your culinary adventures underway.
Every Saturday morning, we’re live at 8 AM (or delayed broadcast, any time), we give suggestions and explicit direction on how to get eight days a week worth of gardening done in seven!: “Gardening Inside Out”. Listen to our Podcast anytime! Follow and contact us: Facebook. YouTube. Instagram.
Keep up-to-date with our real-time inventory at batesnursery.com, where we're open all day, every day…and night—eight days a week, including pottery and statuary selections!
Keep on growing,
David Bates
